"To vent your hatred"

Films: Crawlspace (1986)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: As we've stated before, Klaus Kinski isn't the best guy to have on set if you're an 80's director. So what better way for him to endear himself to audiences than to play as the killer son of a Nazi? It's genius!

History: Karl Gunther is the unhinged son of an old Nazi doctor. This alone weighs heavy on him, especially considering he once had a living euthanizing patients. Now, he spends the rest of his sordid days torturing those unfortunate enough to live in his death trap-filled apartment and playing Russian Roulette with himself in the hopes of suicide. But there's little success with the latter. So be it, he always says.

Notable Kills: One trap is a large arrow going up where the sun doesn't shine, hidden in a chair.

Final Fate: After pursuing the remaining residents for some time, one pulls his own gun on him. After several clicks...so be it...bang.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Looking rather unhinged, Karl is quite talented with turning a small apartment into a house of sudden death at every corner, even if he doesn't seem to do most of the murders with his own hand. However, there is an aura of tragedy to his character, as his attempts at saving lives only taught him to enjoy taking it away, even as it eats away at his conscious and morality.

Trivia: -If you thought Kinski's behavior during the production of "Creature" was bad, you have not heard about how abrasive and awful he was here. When the director releases a short documentary called "Please Kill Mr. Kinski", you just know some things went horribly wrong. To keep it short, fistfights and refusals to follow the script were Kinski's forte, and there were people legitimately wanting him to just die.

-Despite everything, director David Schmoeller doesn't regret working with Kinski, and even praised his acting talent after he died in 1991.

What has happened here is best left unsaid.

....so be it....
Yes. After all, Nazis toss away their humanity the moment they come.

"HAIL HYDRA-wait a minute."
May the Reich forever brand itself on you...you know that, right?

"Wheeee!"

He just saw the book written about him. The actor, that is.
